Michael was orphaned as a child and left to fend for himself. Finding his way to Florence, he worked as an apprentice to several talented artists of the time.

Currently Resides: Spain

Michael never seems to wander too far from his beloved Italy. The only thing that can drag him from Europe is a call from his Yetsern Bektamun.

Brief History

Orphaned at the age of 10, Michael had no choice but to survive by any means open to him. More often than not he had to resort to theft to keep himself fed. He sought employment doing all sorts of odd jobs, anything that would put coin in his pocket and food in his belly.

At the age of 11 a near capture by authorities for his most recent thievery saw him leave Volterra and head for Florence; the birthplace and centre for renaissance art.  Florence was filled with art and artisans.

A chance encounter with a talented artist by the name of Donatello was Michael’s salvation. He was employed as the artists apprentice and dogsbody and stayed with him until his death in 1466.

Once again Michael found himself bereft of home and employment, it was at this time Bektamun stepped in and offered Michael patronage for his own artwork. Within a short time Bektamun knew Michael was an excellent choice and he was made vampire.

To this day, Michael’s passion is art. He travels Europe continuously looking for new artistic talents. He has little time for politics and only involves himself when his aid is required by his maker.
