Recently I discovered the most excellent television viewing, a show called Lost Girl.
Lost Girl focuses on the gorgeous and charismatic Bo, a supernatural being called a succubus who feeds on the energy of humans, sometimes with fatal results. Refusing to embrace her supernatural clan system and its rigid hierarchy, Bo is a renegade who takes up the fight for the underdog while searching for the truth about her own mysterious origins. What I like about this show, apart from the sizzling sexy women, is that it stretches the boundaries between reality and fantasy. Have you never stopped to ask yourself the question, “If vampires are real, what else is out there?”
The other thing I love about this show is the way in which it deals with sexuality. As a succubus Bo is basically bisexual, feeding off sexual ‘chi’. There is bisexuality, homosexuality, lesbianism, even a couple of threesomes. Far from being soft porn, sexuality is portrayed without childish sniggering or narrow-minded prejudice.
The concept of good versus evil is explored with the Fae being divided between ‘Light” and ‘Dark’.
Overall a quality show and well worth a look.
Almost every episode introduces you to a new mythical being. According to creator M.A. Lovretta, all supernatural creatures belong to a race known as the Fae (or Fairy). And we’re not talking soft and cuddly like a fairy Godmother.

Editing, Research & All The Really Fun Stuff
Hello dear friends! As you may know, Desires Revealed is currently with my editor. I am expecting to receive it back plastered with notes on changes which need to be made. Then the really hard work starts; making it pristine and perfect for you to enjoy.
But I’m not letting any grass grow under my feet while I wait impatiently for its return. While I’m waiting I have turned my attention to preparing for our next vampiric jourmey together.
If you have read Vampires Revealed, you should recall I mentioned my brother Reseph. For many years he hid behind the disguise of a highwayman in Europe. This will be the next tale I bring to you.
The time period I will focus on is the latter part of the 18th century, around the time of the French Revolution. Obviously this is not my story, so I am spending many hours in communication with Reseph so I can bring you the most accurate iteration within my power.
Also the weather is beginning to turn cooler in my part of the world. This makes and hunting and feeding discreetly a bit more difficult. Most people tend towards staying inside, it is harder to locate easy prey. So I am considering a sojourn in France. Ah it would be lovely in Paris.
I’m sorry there is so little news, maybe I’m becoming boring in my old age.
